UIW Ranked Top Ten as a 2013 Best for Vets University

The University of the Incarnate Word is proud to announce its selection as one of the best universities in the country doing the most for military veterans. UIW is listed at No. 9 of the 650+ schools who responded to the 2013 Best for Vets: Colleges survey administered by Military Times.

“For all that veterans do for us; they deserve the best of service and a quality educational program. UIW is dedicated to serving those who have served, and that’s why this recognition of excellence is so valued,” said Dr. Cyndi Wilson Porter, VP Extended Academic Studies.

UIW offers all of the benefits listed in the survey, as well as tuition discounts, a dedicated Veterans Affairs Office and is designated as a Yellow Ribbon school.
